1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to PRV5 Secure Share Link (the "Service"). By uploading files, creating notes, accessing shared content, or signing in, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service.
2. The Service
The Service provides temporary sharing of files and notes. Sharers can set a password, an expiry time, and an access limit; once a condition is met, the content is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered. The Service is not a backup or long-term storage service, so please keep your own copies.
3. Accounts
Member accounts sign in with Google. You are responsible for keeping your signed-in devices secure and for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, security concerns, or legal requirements.
4. Acceptable Use
You may not use the Service to upload, share, or distribute:
- Content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights (including unauthorized videos, music, software, or e-books).
- Malware, phishing, or fraudulent content.
- Child sexual exploitation material, non-consensual intimate imagery, or any other illegal content.
- Content that violates the privacy, reputation, or other legal rights of others.
5. Infringement Notices and Takedowns
If you believe content on the Service infringes your rights, email supports@prv5.com with:
- Your name and contact details; if you act on behalf of a rights holder, describe that relationship.
- A description of the work or right being infringed.
- The share link of the allegedly infringing content.
- A statement that you believe in good faith the use is unauthorized, and that the information you provide is accurate.
6. Repeat Infringers
We suspend accounts that accumulate 3 confirmed takedowns for infringement or other violations. For serious violations, we may suspend an account immediately. Suspended accounts cannot sign in, and their shares are removed under the Service's rules.
7. Plans, Billing, and Refunds
The Service offers free and paid plans. Storage, maximum share lifetime, and access limits for each plan are as listed on the Pricing page. Paid plans are priced in US dollars, billed monthly or yearly through Stripe, and renew automatically at the start of each period. At checkout, Stripe may show and charge the price in your local currency based on your location, using an exchange rate Stripe sets at the time of checkout, which may differ from your bank's rate. The currency and amount actually charged are those shown on the checkout page and your receipt.
- Cancellation: You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, and you keep access until then.
- Refunds: Fees already charged are not refunded on a prorated basis, except where required by law.
- Failed payments: Failed charges are retried automatically; if payment ultimately fails, the subscription is canceled and your account returns to the free plan.
- Downgrades: After returning to the free plan, existing shares keep the conditions they were created with until they expire. If your total usage exceeds the free plan's storage, you can upload again once older shares expire.
8. Usage Limits
To keep the Service stable and prevent abuse, each plan has limits on total storage, file size, maximum share lifetime, access count, and daily accesses per share for non-image/video files, including notes (resetting daily at 00:00 UTC). We may adjust these limits as needed; changes do not affect shares that already exist.
9. Changes to the Service
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service for maintenance, security, or operational reasons. We will announce significant changes on the website. If we discontinue the Service while you have a paid plan, we will announce how this will be handled.
10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for your particular purpose. Content that is automatically deleted under its conditions cannot be recovered, and we are not responsible for resulting data loss. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of or inability to use the Service. Sharers are responsible for the content they share.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time and will update the "Last updated" date on this page. By continuing to use the Service after a revision, you agree to the revised Terms.
